Interim Head Teacher
Alongside working as the interim headteacher of New Perspectives School, I am currently
Headteacher of a specialist SEMH school in Leicestershire. Prior to this, I worked as a Senior Leader
within a large mainstream school in the United Learning trust and have also held Head of School
positions across three specialist independent schools within the Aspris group.
My professional background is firmly rooted in SEND, safeguarding, and specialist education.
Alongside school leadership roles, I have served as a Safeguarding Link Governor at a Birmingham
primary school and worked as a safeguarding trainer with Care Based Associate Training (CBAT),
delivering training nationally.
I hold the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and have also supported school
leaders through the Early Headship Coaching Offer (EHCO), mentoring and developing colleagues at
the start of their headship journey.
Above all, I am a proud husband and father to two young children, and I believe that strong
relationships high expectations and a genuine commitment that every child is unique sits at the
heart of all I do.
