New Perspectives School Admissions

•LA send referral to New Perspectives School (NPS)

•Referral considered by the Admissions Team which consists of Head Teacher, SENCO, Pastoral Lead and Lead Mentor

•If agreed that NPS may be able to meet need, an interview with pupil and parent/carer will be arranged

• Interview / Tour of school, sharing of key information. If the Admissions Team agree that we can meet need, a placement offer will be sent to the Local Authority.

•The Local Authority will review all placement offers and take to a panel who will make the decision on where a pupil will be placed.

Local Authorities will take parental preference into account when making the decision on any school placement.
